Hank Greenberg hit 2 doubles and had 2 RBI as the Alexandria Dukes bested the
Escanaba Yoopers 6 to 2 at Tiger Stadium.
 
Alexandria took the lead for good in the 6th inning when they came up with 3
runs on 4 hits.  Alexandria had 13 hits for the afternoon while Escanaba had
4.  
 
Don Sutton(10-7) picked up the victory, allowing 2 runs in 8 innings. Ray
Brown(6-10) suffered the loss.  With this win, Alexandria has a division
leading 63-39 record.  They have been 4-6 lately.  Escanaba will hope that
this loss is only a 'blip' on their recent 8-2 run - and not a start of a new
trend.
