in 5 different innings was still not enough for Las Vegas to come away
with the victory.

Ray Brown(4-5) suffered the loss. He was knocked around by Cheyenne,
allowing 13 hits and 2 walks in 7 innings. Johnson was asked about his
big strikeout performance, 'Well, it's a little odd when you rack up
these numbers on the road - instead of cheers and a running tally in
the stands, everything gets real still and quiet. Just strange - but
it's nice to be able to take the crowd out of the game.'

Papa Bell doubled. Sparky Lyle then let one slip out of his hand for a
wild pitch. Perez then drew a walk. Hank Greenberg was up next and he
reached on an error giving Alexandria the win and sending the home town
fans into a frenzy. A wild and woolly affair, this game saw the lead
