The Alexandria Dukes had very little trouble at Crosley Field downing the
Buffalo Nickels.  The score was 10 to 4.
 
In the top of the 3rd inning Alexandria scored 5 runs with the help of 5 hits.
That scoring would be all that was needed.  Alexandria had 14 hits overall,
while Buffalo had 9.  
 
The win went to Juan Marichal(6-3) who allowed 4 runs in 7 and 1/3 innings.
Tim Keefe(5-7) suffered the loss.  He was not very effective, surrendering 5
runs in 2 and 2/3 innings.
