Baseballs were flying all over the ballpark as the Cheyenne Gunslingers ran
roughshod over the seemingly hapless Orlando Wave.  The Cheyenne offense
rolled up a total of 13 runs!.
 
Julio Franco led the offense for Cheyenne. He stroked a single bringing in a
run in the 2nd inning and lofted a three-run bomb in the 4th inning.  For the
game Cheyenne out-hit Orlando 15 to 5.  
 
Vida Blue(2-3) went 7 and 1/3 innings allowing 5 runs for the victory. Rube
Waddell(1-1) was the losing pitcher.  His biggest problem was control as he
allowed 7 walks in 3 and 2/3 innings.
