First baseman Mule Suttles touched them all and had 8 RBI at Forbes Field
where the Saskatoon Commodores beat the Cheyenne Gunslingers by the score of
17 to 13.

Suttles was really in 'the zone'. He doubled emptying the bases in the 6th
inning, ripped a one-base hit scoring a run in the 7th inning and clubbed a
three-run home run in the 9th inning. Saskatoon bats were very productive in
the 6th inning which saw them score 9 runs on 5 hits and the 9th inning when
they had 4 runs on 4 hits. Despite scoring in 5 separate innings, Cheyenne
could not get the win.

The win went to Jack Quinn(6-3) who allowed 6 runs in 7 and 1/3 innings. Randy
Johnson(6-15) was the loser. His biggest problem was control as he allowed 8
walks in 5 and 1/3 innings.

'They made a couple of mistakes and I took full advantage,' Suttles said 'next
time I'm sure they'll pitch me tougher.'
