Tonight we had the draft for the 2012 Strat-O-Matic Hall of Fame League. Originally, I had planned on doing this league solo, but came up with the idea to add folks to it. Enter Red and Rick. They are the owners of the Des Moines Pickers and the Cheyenne Gunslingers. I am the League Commish and the owner of the Alexandria Dukes. There are 12 teams in the league, nine of which are computer-controlled. The twelve are:

Cheyenne Gunslingers - Forbes Field

This league uses the 2010 Hall of Fame cards and the 2010 SOM Baseball Hero cards. It was a 30 round draft and took place at the Fort Street Brewery.

The draft went well, with each team looking for the right players to fit their philosophy. Rick was looking for manufactured runs, Red was looking for defense and some slugging and I was looking for players who could get on base. All three human-controlled teams, I think, met their mark. The nine computer controlled teams did their thing, and here is the result of the draft:
