the bases. Bill Dickey came up and he drew a walk. After an out was
recorded, Joe Morgan came to the plate and delivered a base-hit. Cheyenne
out-hit Saskatoon 12 to 6, but Saskatoon ended up with more runs.

Pennock was credited with his 4th save. The losing pitcher was Roy Face(1-3)
in relief. He surrendered 1 hit and 1 walk without retiring a batter.

Walt Alston was all smiles after the game, 'To pull a game out in your last at
bats, is a beautiful feeling - and did you see how quiet it got out there?
You could have heard a pin drop when we took the lead. But, hey, that's what
makes baseball so great - as the great sage Yogi Berra says, 'it's not over
'til its over.'
